Flag Queens Spotlight: Rianna Prather. Elite Defensive Instincts. Elite Character. Rianna Prather is a standout example of what it means to be a Matrix athlete—leading with action, consistency, and heart. A quiet leader who lets her work speak for itself, Rianna has been a shutdown corner at Clarksburg High School, earning 2x First Team All-County, 2x First Team All-Division, and contributing to 2 State Championship teams. Her instincts, ball skills, and ability to break on the ball set her apart as one of the top cornerbacks in the state of Maryland. In the classroom, Rianna maintains a strong academic record with a 3.9 weighted GPA and a 3.6 unweighted GPA, reflecting the same discipline and consistency she brings to the field. Selected to play on the Matrix Sports Academy Travel Team, Rianna continued to elevate her game, leading the team with 5 interceptions and 11 pass breakups, anchoring the defense and setting the standard for preparation and performance. Off the field, Rianna’s impact is just as powerful. She helped launch Clarksburg High School’s first-ever community pantry, providing clothing, hygiene products, and non- perishable food to families in need. She also played a key role in opening the first pantryat Snowden Farm Elementary School, organizing toy drives and ensuring families had access to essential resources during the holidays. Her community involvement extends to service initiatives such as Wreaths Across America and multiple local outreach efforts. Rianna embodies dedication, humility, and responsibility—showing that leadership isn’t always loud, but it’s always felt. She represents the values Matrix strives to instill: excellence on the field, integrity off the field, and a commitment to giving back to the community.

Flag Queens Spotlight: Serach “Serocket” Jackson Matrix Sports Academy is happy to spotlight one of its brightest rising stars. Freshman Quarterback Serach Jackson completed an amazing first season by being selected as the only Freshman player named M.C.P.S. First Team All-Division Offense for the Richard Montgomery H.S. Rockets. The Fab Freshman lived up to the hype, garnering oohs and aahs in her first varsity QB start. The precocious diaper dandy burst onto the scene, scoring a rare trifecta of touchdowns. Serach’s versatility was on full display as she became the first player to throw for a touchdown, return a pick six, and a rushing touchdown in her quarterback debut. This off-season, Serach is already off to a great start as her undeniable talent and athleticism received high praise at this year’s 2025 D.C. Divas Powherful 2.0 Female High School Flag Football Showcase. The event was created to give girls an opportunity to be evaluated by an NFL scout under the watchful eye of college coaches and recruiters. Serach Jackson measured tops in the vertical, broad jump, and 20 yd dash. She then showcased her rocket arm during a series of quarterback drills designed to show mobility, accuracy, and arm strength, or the lack thereof. Rich Daniel, President of D.C. Divas, exclaimed that she’s got a great arm and a bright future. We at the Matrix Sports Academy couldn’t agree more. The sky’s the limit for Serach “Serocket” Jackson. Next up, Team U.S.A. Trials

Clarksburg High School quarterback Aysia Jones-Robinson, a standout two-sport athlete, has emerged as one of the state’s top players as the Clarksburg Coyotes continue to dominate on the biggest stages.
